Meet the Founder

NuBeginnings was created by Ellen Marshall, a long‑time advocate for stability, dignity, and second chances.

After years working in healthcare benefits, client support, and process improvement, Ellen saw how many adults were doing the hard work of rebuilding their lives — but still struggled to find safe, stable housing where they could truly move forward.

She founded NuBeginnings to create a respectful, structured, supportive home environment where adults can regain stability, rebuild routines, and step confidently into the next chapter of their lives.

Her approach is simple and human‑centered: stable housing, clear expectations, and a community that supports accountability without judgment.

  2. Keep Living Areas Clean Maintain your personal space and help keep common areas tidy and organized.

  3. Follow House Expectations Honor quiet hours and community guidelines that support a calm, peaceful home.

  4. No Illegal Drugs, Weapons, or Unsafe Items To keep everyone safe, these items are not allowed on the property.

  5. Help Maintain a Positive Environment Unsafe or disruptive behavior isn’t allowed. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
